The honest answer: probably not, but Nintendo doesn't officially document what a Mii personality change does to relationships. In our own playthroughs and from community reports, friendship levels, Sweetheart status, marriages, and children all appear to persist when you change a Mii's personality at the Town Hall. The game doesn't show a warning, and no “relationships reset” prompt appears.

What we know does change when you change Mii personality:

The 16-type classification — re-assigned the moment you confirm new slider values.
Idle animations and speech style — the Mii starts moving and talking like their new type right away.
How the Mii will interact going forward — future events, dialogue choices, and reactions follow the new personality.

What appears to stay intact after a Mii personality change (community-reported, not officially documented):

Children and family ties
